Pokémon Platinum

Pokémon Platinum is the newest Pokémon game. It will be a follow-up to Pokémon Pearl and Diamond, and I've noted the fact that we will now be saying... D/P/P. The main Pokémon will be Giratina and the Pokémon will have gained new forms. Bulbapedia says that you will also recieve an egg which will hatch into a Shinx which knows a special move, this move is unknown. The first images of the game were released in CoroCoro, a Japanese gaming comic. It seems that Giratina will be in place of Dialga and Palkia on top of Spear Pillar and the Dino Duo will be on either side of Giratina, according to the screenshots. Platinum will also have lots of new features, including some things that have been put into and removed from the game. Giratina will have a new- Origin Form, Shaymin will have a new form, more details on that coming soon as soon as they are released, and Regigigas will now have another form as well. The game is most likely to be released in Autumn 2008 in Japan, and Early 2009 in the USA and Europe. This is not a rumor, this has been confirmed by Nintendo, Kotaku, a great gaming website, give 'em a visit, confirmed this. It has also been confirmed by Nintendo that the characters Lucas and Dawn, will have new clothes, see the two screenshots. Lucas! Ditch that hat for the next game!

Volkner (my favourite Gym Leader) will no longer be Sunyshore's Gym Leader and will instead be...

...On a new, Battle Frontier kind of place called "Battle Island!"

Only two so far, but Thundershock vows to update the site with more the day it appears on the web.

As you can see, an old character, the emotionless Team Galactic Leader Cyrus (who I dressed up as for Halloween), is standing in front of Giratina in its origin form, it seems, alongside Dialga on the left, and Palkia on the right. The place this is happening seems to be Spear Pillar, the place where you caught your Dialga or Palkia in Diamond or Pearl. Black slime appears to be on the ground, though it is unknown what it is yet.

Lucas is about to send out a Pokémon against the opposing Giratina in origin form. Level forty seven, which is the same as Palkia or Dialga, when first encountered. It seems to be very foggy and Lucas is wearing Blue and his bag has been changed to a grey color. The stats for the wild Pokémon have now become grayish balck and a starange shape, like the top of a harpoon gun has beem added to the stat box.
